O you assembly of jinn and mankind! "Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

130. 1. In the matter of conveyors of the messengers' messagehip and prophethood, the jinn are subordinate to humans; otherwise, no separate prophet has come among the jinn. However, there have been conveyors of the messengers' message and warners among the jinn who have conveyed the message of the conveyors of the messengers' message to their own community of jinn and continue to do so. But there is also the view that since the existence of jinn predates that of humans, a prophet from among them may have come for their guidance, and after the creation of Adam (عليه السلام), they may have become subordinate to human prophets. However, the prophethood of the Noble Prophet ﷺ is undoubtedly for all jinn and humans; there is no doubt about this.

130. 2. In the field of resurrection, the disbelievers will adopt various tactics; sometimes they will deny being polytheists (al-An'am, 123), and at other times, they will have no choice but to confess, as their confession is mentioned here.
