And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayâtîn (devils) among mankind and jinn, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it; so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafsîr Qurtubi)

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

112. 1 This is the same point that has been stated in different ways for the consolation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that all the prophets who came before you were denied, they were given troubles, and so on. The purpose is that just as they acted with patience and perseverance, you too should demonstrate patience and steadfastness in the face of these enemies of truth. From this, it is also understood that the followers of Satan are also among the jinn, and these are those who, from both groups, are rebellious and arrogant in nature.

112. 2 وَحْیُ refers to a secret matter, meaning that in order to mislead humans and jinn, they teach each other tricks and schemes so that they can involve people in deception and fraud. This is also commonly observed that in satanic deeds, people cooperate with each other enthusiastically, due to which evil spreads very quickly.

112. 3 That is, Allah Almighty is capable of thwarting these satanic tactics. But He will not do so by compulsion, because doing so would be against His system and principle which He has adopted according to His will, the wisdoms of which He knows best.
