Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when He has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
11. 1. That is, just as Allah alone is unique in creating all these things, and no one is His partner, in the same way, He alone deserves to be worshipped, and no one else should be associated with Him in worship. But people, leaving aside this One Being, have made the jinn His partners, even though they themselves are created by Allah. The polytheists actually worship idols or persons buried in graves, but here it is said that they have made the jinn partners of Allah. In reality, by 'jinn' is meant the devils (shayatin), at whose behest polytheism is committed, so it is as if the worship is actually of the devil himself. This subject has been mentioned in several places in the Noble Quran, for example: Surah Nisa 117, Surah Maryam 44, Surah Yasin 60, Surah Saba 41.
