Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

1. 6.1 Ayman, the plural of Yameen, means oath. That is, just as a shield is used to protect oneself from the enemy's blows, in the same way, they have made their oaths a shield to protect themselves from the swords of the Muslims.

2. 6.2 That is, by swearing false oaths, they present themselves as Muslims, due to which many people do not know the reality about them, and being deceived by them, they are deprived of accepting Islam. In this way, they also commit the crime of preventing people from the path of Allah.
