Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

13-1 These hypocrites will walk with the believers for a while in their light, then Allah will impose darkness upon the hypocrites, at that time they will say this to the believers.
13-2 This means to go back to the world and bring the capital of faith and righteous deeds in the same way as we have brought, or as a mockery, the believers will say to go back and search where we brought the light from.
13-3 That is, between the believers and the hypocrites.
-4 By this is meant Paradise, into which the believers will have entered.
-5 That is, the part in which Hell will be.
