خُشَّعًا أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ ﴿7﴾
They will come forth, with humbled eyes from (their) graves as if they were locusts spread abroad,
خُشَّعًا khushaʿan (Will be) humbled
أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ abṣāruhum their eyes
يَخْرُجُونَ yakhrujūna they will come forth
مِنَ mina from
ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ l-ajdāthi the graves
كَأَنَّهُمْ ka-annahum as if they (were)
جَرَادٌۭ jarādun locusts
مُّنتَشِرٌۭ muntashirun spreading

7. 1. That is, after coming out of the graves, they will spread and rush towards the place of reckoning with such speed, as if they are like a swarm of locusts that instantly spreads out in the open space.
