كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ ﴿42﴾
(They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable (Omnipotent).
كَذَّبُوا۟ kadhabū They denied
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا biāyātinā Our Signs
كُلِّهَا kullihā all of them
فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمْ fa-akhadhnāhum so We seized them
أَخْذَ akhdha (with) a seizure
عَزِيزٍۢ ʿazīzin (of) All-Mighty
مُّقْتَدِرٍ muq'tadirin (the) Powerful One
