يَوْمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوْرًا ﴿9﴾
On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking,
يَوْمَ yawma (On the) Day
تَمُورُ tamūru will shake
ٱلسَّمَآءُ l-samāu the heaven
مَوْرًۭا mawran (with violent) shake

9. 1. The meaning of مور is movement and agitation. On the Day of Resurrection, the disturbance that will occur in the order of the heavens and the disintegration of stars and planets is expressed with these words, and this is the circumstance for the mentioned punishment. That is, the punishment will occur on the day when the sky will tremble and the mountains will leave their places and fly like tufts of cotton and grains of sand.
