وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ ﴿5﴾
And by the roof raised high (i.e. the heaven).

5. 1. By this is meant the sky, which is like a roof for the earth. The Quran has called it a 'protected roof' at another place; some have taken this to mean the Throne, which is the roof for all creation. (وَجَعَلْنَا السَّمَاۗءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوْظًا) 21.
