سُوْرَةُ الطُّوْرِ
Surah At-Tur (52) — Ayah 26
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِىٓ أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ ﴿26﴾

Saying: "Aforetime, we were afraid (of the punishment of Allâh) in the midst of our families.

26. 1. That is, from the punishment of Allah. Therefore, they also made arrangements to avoid this punishment, because a person strives to avoid that which he fears.
