كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿19﴾
"Eat and drink with happiness because of what you used to do."
كُلُوا۟ kulū Eat
وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ wa-ish'rabū and drink
هَنِيٓـًٔۢا hanīan (in) satisfaction
بِمَا bimā for what
كُنتُمْ kuntum you used to
تَعْمَلُونَ taʿmalūna do

19. 1. At another place it is said (كُلُوْا وَاشْرَبُوْا هَنِيْۗئًۢا بِمَآ اَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْاَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ) 69. Al-Haqqah:24) From this it is understood that along with faith, righteous deeds are very necessary to attain Allah's mercy.
