Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

56. 1. This is the identification of Hizbullah (the party of Allah) and the glad tidings of its dominance are being given. Hizbullah is the one whose connection is only with Allah, the Messenger, and the believers, and who do not maintain relations of love and dealings with disbelievers, polytheists, and Jews and Christians—even if they are their close relatives. As stated at the end of Surah Mujadila, "You will not find those who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they are their fathers, their sons, their brothers, or their kindred and tribe." Then glad tidings are given that "these are the people in whose hearts is faith and who have Allah's help; Allah will admit them into Paradise... and this is Hizbullah, whose success is destined."
