Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. 30. 1. Thus, it is mentioned in the hadith (لَا تَقْتُلُ نَفْسً ظُلُمًَا اِلَّا کَانَ عَلٰی اِبْنِ آدَمْ کفل من دمہا، لانہ کان اول من سن القتل) (Sahih Bukhari) that for every murder committed unjustly (along with the killer), the burden of the innocent blood is upon Adam's first son because he was the first person who committed murder. Imam Ibn Kathir states, "It is apparent that Qabil was given the punishment for the unjust killing of Habil immediately in this world." It is mentioned in the hadith that the Prophet ﷺ said, "(Oppression and transgression) and severing of kinship ties—these two sins are more deserving that Allah punishes their doers quickly in this world; however, the punishment of the Hereafter is separate and in addition to this and will be faced there." Both of these sins were combined in Qabil. 'إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ' 2:156 (Ibn Kathir)
