قَالُوا۟ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ ﴿113﴾
They said: "We wish to eat thereof and to satisfy our hearts (to be stronger in Faith), and to know that you have indeed told us the truth and that we ourselves be its witnesses."
قَالُوا۟ qālū They said
نُرِيدُ nurīdu We wish
أَن an that
نَّأْكُلَ nakula we eat
مِنْهَا min'hā from it
وَتَطْمَئِنَّ wataṭma-inna and satisfy
قُلُوبُنَا qulūbunā our hearts
وَنَعْلَمَ wanaʿlama and we know
أَن an that
قَدْ qad certainly
صَدَقْتَنَا ṣadaqtanā you have spoken the truth to us
وَنَكُونَ wanakūna and we be
عَلَيْهَا ʿalayhā over it
مِنَ mina among
ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ l-shāhidīna the witnesses
