سُوْرَةُ الْفَتْحِ
Surah Al-Fath (48) — Ayah 28
هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًا ﴿28﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm), that He may make it (Islâm) superior to all religions. And All-Sufficient is Allâh as a Witness.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

28. 1. The dominance of Islam over other religions is always established in terms of arguments; however, in worldly and military terms as well, during the early centuries and for a long period thereafter, as long as Muslims adhered to their religion, they remained dominant. Even today, this material dominance is possible, provided that Muslims truly become Muslims (وَاَنْتُمُ الْاَعْلَوْنَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ) 3. Aal-e-Imran:139). This religion has come to be dominant, not to be subdued.
