قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ﴿22﴾
They said: "Have you come to turn us away from our âlihah (gods)? Then bring us that with which you threaten us, if you are one of the truthful!"
قَالُوٓا۟ qālū They said
أَجِئْتَنَا aji'tanā Have you come to us
لِتَأْفِكَنَا litafikanā to turn us away
عَنْ ʿan from
ءَالِهَتِنَا ālihatinā our gods
فَأْتِنَا fatinā Then bring us
بِمَا bimā what
تَعِدُنَآ taʿidunā you threaten us
إِن in if
كُنتَ kunta you are
مِنَ mina of
ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ l-ṣādiqīna the truthful
