تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ ﴿2﴾
The revelation of the Book (this Qur’ân) is from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
تَنزِيلُ tanzīlu (The) revelation
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ l-kitābi (of) the Book
مِنَ mina (is) from
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
ٱلْعَزِيزِ l-ʿazīzi the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمِ l-ḥakīmi the All-Wise

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. 2. 1. These are the opening letters of the Surah, among the Mutashabihat, the knowledge of which is only with Allah; therefore, there is no need to delve into their meanings and interpretations. However, some commentators have mentioned two benefits of these, which we have mentioned earlier.
