Surah Al-Jaathiya (45) — Ayah 13

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿13﴾
And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.
وَسَخَّرَ wasakhara And He has subjected
لَكُم lakum to you
مَّا whatever
فِى (is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ l-samāwāti the heavens
وَمَا wamā and whatever
فِى (is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi the earth
جَمِيعًۭا jamīʿan all
مِّنْهُ ۚ min'hu from Him
إِنَّ inna Indeed
فِى in
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika that
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ laāyātin surely are Signs
لِّقَوْمٍۢ liqawmin for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ yatafakkarūna who give thought

13. 1. The meaning of making subservient is that they have been assigned to your service, your benefits and your livelihood are all dependent on them, such as the moon, the sun, the stars, rain, clouds, and winds, etc. And "from Himself" means, from His special mercy and grace.
