فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَا ٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿55﴾
So when they angered Us, We punished them, and drowned them all.
فَلَمَّآ falammā So when
ءَاسَفُونَا āsafūnā they angered Us
ٱنتَقَمْنَا intaqamnā We took retribution
مِنْهُمْ min'hum from them
فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ fa-aghraqnāhum and We drowned them
أَجْمَعِينَ ajmaʿīna all
