53. 1. In that era, the kings of Egypt and Persia used to wear gold bangles to highlight their distinctive glory and special status. Similarly, gold bangles were placed on the hands of tribal chiefs and gold collars and chains were put around their necks. In this context, Pharaoh said regarding Musa ؑ that if he had any status and distinctive glory, he should have had gold bangles on his hands.
53. 2. Who would confirm that he is Allah’s messenger or, like the kings, would be with him to highlight his glory.
