ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ﴿10﴾
Who has made for you the earth like a bed, and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way.
ٱلَّذِى alladhī The One Who
جَعَلَ jaʿala made
لَكُمُ lakumu for you
ٱلْأَرْضَ l-arḍa the earth
مَهْدًۭا mahdan a bed
وَجَعَلَ wajaʿala and made
لَكُمْ lakum for you
فِيهَا fīhā therein
سُبُلًۭا subulan roads
لَّعَلَّكُمْ laʿallakum so that you may
تَهْتَدُونَ tahtadūna (be) guided

10. 1. Such a bedding, in which there is stability and firmness, you walk on it, stand and sleep on it, and wherever you wish, you roam. He has fixed it with mountains so that there is no movement or shaking in it.

10. 2. That is, He has made paths from one region to another and from one country to another so that you may come and go for business, trade, and other purposes.
