سُوْرَةُ الشُّوْرٰي

Surah Ash-Shura (42) — Ayah 31

وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ ﴿31﴾
And you cannot escape from Allâh (i.e. His punishment) in the earth, and besides Allâh you have neither any Walî (guardian or a protector, helper) nor any helper.
وَمَآ wamā And not
أَنتُم antum you
بِمُعْجِزِينَ bimuʿ'jizīna (can) escape
فِى in
ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ l-arḍi the earth
وَمَا wamā and not
لَكُم lakum for you
مِّن min besides
دُونِ dūni besides
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
مِن min any
وَلِىٍّۢ waliyyin protector
وَلَا walā and not
نَصِيرٍۢ naṣīrin any helper

31. 1. That is, you cannot flee to any place where you would be out of Our grasp, nor can you escape from any calamity that We wish to send upon you.
