Surah Fussilat (41) — Ayah 52

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُم بِهِۦ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍ ﴿52﴾
Say: "Tell me, if it (the Qur’ân) is from Allâh, and you disbelieve in it? Who is more astray than one who is in opposition far away (from Allâh’s Right Path and His obedience).
قُلْ qul Say
أَرَءَيْتُمْ ara-aytum You see

52. 2. The meaning of "شقاق" is stubbornness, hostility, and opposition. The addition of "بعید" intensifies it further. That is, one who acts with extreme opposition and hostility, to the extent that he even denies the Quran revealed by Allah—who can be more astray and wretched than such a person?
