Allâh, it is He Who has made cattle for you, that you may ride on some of them, and of some you eat.

79. 1 Allah, the Exalted, is mentioning some of His countless blessings; by "cattle" is meant camel, cow, goat, and sheep. These, male and female together, are eight, as mentioned in Surah Al-An'am.
79. 2 These are also used for riding, their milk is also drunk (such as the milk of goat, cow, and she-camel), their meat is among the most favored foods of humans, and they are also used for carrying loads.
