Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

50. 1 How can we say anything to Allah on behalf of those people to whom Allah’s messengers came with clear proofs and miracles, but they paid no heed?

50. 2 That is, in the end, they themselves will cry out to Allah, but their cry will not be heard there. This is because, in the world, the proof had been completed against them. Now the Hereafter is not a place for faith, repentance, or action; it is the abode of recompense. Whatever was done in the world, its result will have to be faced there.
