Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. However, its ruling is general; it includes all those who turn away from the Book and the Sunnah and, leaving both of them, go to someone else for their judgments. Otherwise, the condition of the Muslims is such that 24:51 when they are called to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ so that He may judge between them, they say, "We hear and we obey." About such people, Allah Almighty further said (وَ اوْلَئِکَ ھُمُ المُفْلِحُوْنَ) 24:51 these are the ones who are successful.
