Surah An-Nisaa (4) — Ayah 60

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوٓا۟ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَـٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا ﴿60﴾
Have you not seen those (hypocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgement (in their disputes) to the Tâghût (false judges) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitân (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray.
أَلَمْ alam Do not
تَرَ tara you see
إِلَى ilā [towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who
يَزْعُمُونَ yazʿumūna claim
أَنَّهُمْ annahum that they
ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe
بِمَآ bimā in what
أُنزِلَ unzila (is) revealed
إِلَيْكَ ilayka to you
وَمَآ wamā and what
أُنزِلَ unzila was revealed
مِن min from
قَبْلِكَ qablika before you
يُرِيدُونَ yurīdūna They wish
أَن an to
يَتَحَاكَمُوٓا۟ yataḥākamū go for judgment
إِلَى ilā to
ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ l-ṭāghūti the false deities
وَقَدْ waqad and surely
أُمِرُوٓا۟ umirū they were ordered
أَن an to
يَكْفُرُوا۟ yakfurū reject
بِهِۦ bihi [with] it
وَيُرِيدُ wayurīdu And wishes
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ l-shayṭānu the Shaitaan
أَن an to
يُضِلَّهُمْ yuḍillahum mislead them
ضَلَـٰلًۢا ḍalālan astray
بَعِيدًۭا baʿīdan far away
