Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

152. 1. This describes the characteristic of the believers that they have faith in all the Prophets (علیہم السلام). Just as Muslims do, they do not deny any Prophet. This verse also negates a certain religion which does not consider it necessary to have faith in the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ, and considers those non-Muslims as saved who, according to their own concepts, have faith in Allah. But this verse of the Quran has made it clear that along with faith in Allah, it is also necessary to have faith in the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ. If this final Prophethood is denied, then with this denial, faith in Allah is invalid and unacceptable (see also the footnote of Surah Baqarah (Ayah number 12)).
