Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

61. 1. مفازۃ is a verbal noun (مصدر میمی), meaning "success" — to be saved from evil and to attain happiness through goodness. The meaning is that Allah will grant salvation to the pious because of that success and happiness which is already decreed for them by Allah.

61. 2. They will have no grief over what they left behind in the world; since they will be safe from the terrors of the Day of Judgment, they will have no sorrow over anything.
