Surah Az-Zumar (39) — Ayah 44

قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ جَمِيعًا ۖ لَّهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ﴿44﴾
Say: "To Allâh belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you shall be brought back."
قُل qul Say
لِّلَّهِ lillahi To Allah (belongs)
ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ l-shafāʿatu the intercession
جَمِيعًۭا ۖ jamīʿan all
لَّهُۥ lahu For Him
مُلْكُ mul'ku (is the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ l-samāwāti (of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ wal-arḍi and the earth
ثُمَّ thumma Then
إِلَيْهِ ilayhi to Him
تُرْجَعُونَ tur'jaʿūna you will be returned

44. 1. That is, the owner of all types of intercession is only Allah; without His permission, no one will be able to intercede. Then why not worship only Allah so that He becomes pleased, and there remains no need to seek any support for intercession.
