Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

34. 1. That is, Allah will also forgive their sins, and will also elevate their ranks, because every Muslim desires this from Allah. In addition, after entering Paradise, every desired thing will also be granted.

34. 2. One meaning of "Muhsineen" is those who do good deeds; the second is those who worship Allah with sincerity, as the definition of Ihsan is given in the hadith: "An ta'bud Allah ka'annaka tarahu fa'in lam takun tarahu fa'innahu yarak" — Worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state, then at least know that He sees you. The third meaning is those who treat people with kindness and good conduct. The fourth is those who perform every good deed in the best manner, with humility and devotion, and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, giving importance to excellence rather than quantity.
