Surah Az-Zumar (39) — Ayah 22

أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَـٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْقَـٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿22﴾
Is he whose breast Allâh has opened to Islâm, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is a non-Muslim)? So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allâh! They are in plain error!
أَفَمَن afaman So is (one for) whom
شَرَحَ sharaḥa Allah has expanded
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu Allah has expanded
صَدْرَهُۥ ṣadrahu his breast
لِلْإِسْلَـٰمِ lil'is'lāmi for Islam
فَهُوَ fahuwa so he
عَلَىٰ ʿalā (is) upon
نُورٍۢ nūrin a light
مِّن min from
رَّبِّهِۦ ۚ rabbihi his Lord
فَوَيْلٌۭ fawaylun So woe
لِّلْقَـٰسِيَةِ lil'qāsiyati to (those are) hardened
قُلُوبُهُم qulūbuhum their hearts
مِّن min from
ذِكْرِ dhik'ri (the) remembrance of Allah
ٱللَّهِ ۚ l-lahi (the) remembrance of Allah
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika Those
فِى (are) in
ضَلَـٰلٍۢ ḍalālin error
مُّبِينٍ mubīnin clear

That is, the one who is granted by Allah the ability to accept the truth and adopt the path of goodness, so due to this openness of the chest, he is upon the light of his Lord—can he be like the one whose heart is hard for Islam, and whose chest is constricted, and who is wandering in the darknesses of misguidance?
