Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

43. 1 Some say that the first family, which was destroyed as a trial, was brought back to life and its like and more families were granted. But this is not proven from any authentic source; the more correct view appears to be that Allah granted him more wealth and offspring than before, which was double what he had previously.

43. 2 That is, everything was granted to Ayub (علیہ السلام) again; besides being a manifestation of His special mercy, the second purpose is that people of understanding may take admonition from this, and that they too may show patience in trials and hardships just as Ayub (علیہ السلام) did.
