سُوْرَةُ صٓ
Surah Saad (38) — Ayah 36
فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ ﴿36﴾

So, We subjected to him the wind; it blew gently by his order whithersoever he willed,

36. 1. We accepted the supplication of Sulaiman (عليه السلام) and granted him such a kingdom in which even the wind was under his command. Where the wind is described as gentle, while at another place it is described as strong and fierce, which means that the wind is inherently forceful. But for Sulaiman (عليه السلام), it was made gentle, or as needed, it would sometimes be fierce and sometimes gentle, just as Sulaiman (عليه السلام) wished (Fath al-Qadeer).
