وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً ۖ كُلٌّ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ﴿19﴾
And (so did) the birds assembled: all obedient to him [Dâwûd (David)] [i.e. they came and glorified Allâh’s Praises along with him]. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi ).
وَٱلطَّيْرَ wal-ṭayra And the birds
مَحْشُورَةًۭ ۖ maḥshūratan assembled
كُلٌّۭ kullun all
لَّهُۥٓ lahu with him
أَوَّابٌۭ awwābun repeatedly turning

19. 1. That is, at the time of Ishraq and at the end of the day, even the mountains would be engaged in glorification along with Dawud (عليه السلام), and the flying birds, upon hearing the recitation of the Zabur, would gather in the air and glorify Allah along with him.
