فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴿91﴾
Then he turned to their âlihah (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)?
فَرَاغَ farāgha Then he turned
إِلَىٰٓ ilā to
ءَالِهَتِهِمْ ālihatihim their gods
فَقَالَ faqāla and said
أَلَا alā Do not
تَأْكُلُونَ takulūna you eat

91. 1. That is, the sweets that were placed there as a blessing, they were presented to them to eat, which obviously they were neither supposed to eat nor did they eat, rather they were not even able to respond, so they did not give any answer either.
