سُوْرَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ
Surah As-Saaffaat (37) — Ayah 28
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ ﴿28﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, enjoin on us polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and from every good deed]."

28. 1. Its meaning is that they used to come in the name of religion and truth, that is, they made people believe that this is the real religion and truth, and according to some, the meaning is that they used to come from every direction, just as Satan said, I will come to them from their front, from behind them, from their right and from their left, and from every direction, and I will mislead them (ثُمَّ لَاٰتِيَنَّهُمْ مِّنْۢ بَيْنِ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ اَيْمَانِهِمْ وَعَنْ شَمَاۗىِٕلِهِمْ ۭ وَلَا تَجِدُ اَكْثَرَهُمْ شٰكِرِيْنَ) 7. Al-A'raf:17)
