إِنِّىٓ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿24﴾
"Then verily, I should be in plain error.
إِنِّىٓ innī Indeed, I
إِذًۭا idhan then
لَّفِى lafī surely would be in
ضَلَـٰلٍۢ ḍalālin an error
مُّبِينٍ mubīnin clear

24. 1 That is, if I too, like you, begin to worship such powerless and helpless deities instead of Allah, then I too would fall into clear misguidance. Or ضلال here is in the sense of حسران, meaning this is indeed a very obvious loss.
