سُوْرَةُ يٰسٓ
Surah Yaseen (36) — Ayah 22
وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ﴿22﴾

"And why should I not worship Him (Allâh Alone) Who has created me and to Whom you shall be returned.

22. 1. He clarified his creed of monotheism, with the purpose of wishing well for his people and guiding them correctly. It is also possible that his people said to him: Do you also worship the deity to whom these messengers are calling us, and have you too abandoned our deities? In response, he said this. The commentators have mentioned this person's name as Habib Najjar. And Allah knows best.
