سُوْرَةُ فَاطِرٍ

Surah Faatir (35) — Ayah 4

وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ ﴿4﴾
And if they belie you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), so were Messengers belied before you. And to Allâh return all matters (for decision).
وَإِن wa-in And if
يُكَذِّبُوكَ yukadhibūka they deny you
فَقَدْ faqad then certainly
كُذِّبَتْ kudhibat were denied
رُسُلٌۭ rusulun Messengers
مِّن min before you
قَبْلِكَ ۚ qablika before you
وَإِلَى wa-ilā And to
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
تُرْجَعُ tur'jaʿu return
ٱلْأُمُورُ l-umūru the matters

4. 1. In this, there is comfort for the Prophet ﷺ that where will they go by denying you ﷺ? Ultimately, the decision of all matters is to be made by Us, so if they do not desist, then destroying them is not difficult for Us.
