سُوْرَةُ سَبَاٍ
Surah Saba (34) — Ayah 42
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يَمْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ نَّفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿42﴾

So Today (i.e. the Day of Resurrection), none of you can profit or harm one another. And We shall say to those who did wrong [i.e. worshipped others (like the angels, jinn, prophets, saints, righteous persons) along with Allâh]: "Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to belie.

42. 1. That is, in the world you used to worship them thinking that they would benefit you, intercede for you, and save you from Allah's punishment, just as even today the followers of saints and grave-worshippers do. But now see that these people are not capable of anything.
42. 2. By "wrongdoers" are meant the worshippers of others besides Allah, because shirk is a great injustice, and the polytheists are the greatest wrongdoers.
