Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

25-1 That is, the polytheists who had gathered from different directions to wipe out the Muslims. Allah sent them back along with His wrath and anger. They did not get any worldly wealth or possessions, nor will they be deserving of any reward in the Hereafter; they did not attain any kind of good.

25-2 That is, the Muslims did not even need to fight them, rather Allah provided help to His believing servants through wind and angels. That is why the Prophet ﷺ said (Sahih Bukhari) "There is no deity except Allah alone, He fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, granted victory to His army, and He alone defeated all the groups, and there is nothing after Him." This supplication should be recited upon returning from Hajj, Umrah, Jihad, and travel.
