Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
15-1. That is, they affirm and benefit from them.
15-2. That is, they honor Allah’s verses and fear His punishment.
15-3. That is, they declare their Lord free from those things which do not befit His majesty, and along with that, they praise Him for His blessings, the greatest and most complete of which is the guidance to faith. That is, in their prostrations, they recite words such as سُبْحَاناللّٰہِوَبِحَمْدِہٖ, سُبْحَانَرَبِّیَالْاَعٰلٰیوَبَحَمْدِہٖ, etc.
15-4. That is, they adopt the path of obedience and submission. They do not act arrogantly like the ignorant and disbelievers. Because arrogance towards the worship of Allah is a cause for entering Hell. Therefore, the condition of the believers is the opposite; they always express humility, lowliness, destitution, and submissiveness before Allah.
