سُوْرَةُ لُقْمَانَ

Surah Luqman (31) — Ayah 23

وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُۥٓ ۚ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿23﴾
And whoever disbelieves, let not his disbelief grieve you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). To Us is their return, and We shall inform them what they have done. Verily, Allâh is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).
وَمَن waman And whoever
كَفَرَ kafara disbelieves
فَلَا falā let not
يَحْزُنكَ yaḥzunka grieve you
كُفْرُهُۥٓ ۚ kuf'ruhu his disbelief
إِلَيْنَا ilaynā To Us
مَرْجِعُهُمْ marjiʿuhum (is) their return
فَنُنَبِّئُهُم fanunabbi-uhum then We will inform them
بِمَا bimā of what
عَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚ ʿamilū they did
إِنَّ inna Indeed
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
عَلِيمٌۢ ʿalīmun (is) the All-Knower
بِذَاتِ bidhāti of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ l-ṣudūri (is in) the breasts

23-1. This is because the blessing of faith is not destined for them. Your effort is valid in its own place and your desire is also commendable, but Allah's decree and will prevail over everything.

23-2. That is, He will give recompense for their deeds.

23-3. Thus, nothing can remain hidden from Him.
