Surah Ar-Room (30) — Ayah 60

فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ ﴿60﴾
So be patient (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true; and let not those who have no certainty of faith, discourage you from conveying Allâh’s Message (which you are obliged to convey).
فَٱصْبِرْ fa-iṣ'bir So be patient
إِنَّ inna Indeed
وَعْدَ waʿda (the) Promise
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (of) Allah
حَقٌّۭ ۖ ḥaqqun (is) true
وَلَا walā And (let) not
يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ yastakhiffannaka take you in light estimation
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who
لَا (are) not
يُوقِنُونَ yūqinūna certain in faith

60-1. That is, regarding their opposition and stubbornness, and their hurtful words, because Allah has promised you help, and indeed, the truth is that which will certainly be fulfilled.

60-2. That is, do not let them provoke you to abandon patience and forbearance out of anger, nor compel you to flattery, rather, remain steadfast in your stance and do not deviate from it.
