Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Even to the extent that sometimes, in intellect and understanding and apparent means and resources, two people seem exactly alike, and even start the same kind of business, but one person's business flourishes greatly and he prospers, while the other person's business remains limited and does not expand. After all, who is this Being who has all authority and carries out such actions? Moreover, sometimes He makes the owner of abundant wealth needy, and grants wealth and riches to the needy, and all of this is in the hands of that one Allah, who has no partner.
