Surah Ar-Room (30) — Ayah 19

يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ وَيُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ ﴿19﴾
He brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living. And He revives the earth after its death. And thus shall you be brought out (resurrected).
يُخْرِجُ yukh'riju He brings forth
ٱلْحَىَّ l-ḥaya the living
مِنَ mina from
ٱلْمَيِّتِ l-mayiti the dead
وَيُخْرِجُ wayukh'riju and He brings forth
ٱلْمَيِّتَ l-mayita the dead
مِنَ mina from
ٱلْحَىِّ l-ḥayi the living
وَيُحْىِ wayuḥ'yī and He gives life
ٱلْأَرْضَ l-arḍa (to) the earth
بَعْدَ baʿda after
مَوْتِهَا ۚ mawtihā its death
وَكَذَٰلِكَ wakadhālika and thus
تُخْرَجُونَ tukh'rajūna you will be brought forth

19-1. Just as an egg comes from a hen, and a hen comes from an egg. A human is created from a drop of fluid, and the drop of fluid is created from a human, and a believer is created from a disbeliever, and a disbeliever is created from a believer.

19-2. That is, by resurrecting from the graves.
