Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 84

قُلْ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ ﴿84﴾
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "We believe in Allâh and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrâhîm (Abraham), Ismâ‘îl (Ishmael), Ishâq (Isaac), Ya‘qûb (Jacob) and Al-Asbât [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya‘qûb (Jacob)] and what was given to Mûsâ (Moses), ‘Îsâ (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allâh) we have submitted (in Islâm)."
قُلْ qul Say
ءَامَنَّا āmannā We believed
بِٱللَّهِ bil-lahi in Allah
وَمَآ wamā and what
أُنزِلَ unzila (is) revealed
عَلَيْنَا ʿalaynā on us
وَمَآ wamā and what
أُنزِلَ unzila was revealed
عَلَىٰٓ ʿalā on
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ib'rāhīma Ibrahim
وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ wa-is'māʿīla and Ishmael
وَإِسْحَـٰقَ wa-is'ḥāqa and Isaac
وَيَعْقُوبَ wayaʿqūba and Yaqub
وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ wal-asbāṭi and the descendents
وَمَآ wamā and what
أُوتِىَ ūtiya was given
مُوسَىٰ mūsā (to) Musa
وَعِيسَىٰ waʿīsā and Isa
وَٱلنَّبِيُّونَ wal-nabiyūna and the Prophets
مِن min from
رَّبِّهِمْ rabbihim their Lord
لَا Not
نُفَرِّقُ nufarriqu we make distinction
بَيْنَ bayna between
أَحَدٍۢ aḥadin any
مِّنْهُمْ min'hum of them
وَنَحْنُ wanaḥnu and we
لَهُۥ lahu to Him
مُسْلِمُونَ mus'limūna (are) submissive

84. 1. That is, to have faith in all true prophets that they were sent by Allah in their respective times, and also to hold the belief regarding the revealed books sent to them that they were heavenly books and were indeed revealed by Allah, is necessary. However, now action will be based only on the Noble Quran because the Quran has abrogated the previous books.
