سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ

Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 76

بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِۦ وَٱتَّقَىٰ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿76﴾
Yes, whoever fulfils his pledge and fears Allâh much; verily, then Allâh loves those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2).
بَلَىٰ balā Nay
مَنْ man whoever
أَوْفَىٰ awfā fulfills
بِعَهْدِهِۦ biʿahdihi his covenant
وَٱتَّقَىٰ wa-ittaqā and fears (Allah)
فَإِنَّ fa-inna then indeed
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
يُحِبُّ yuḥibbu loves
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ l-mutaqīna those who fear (Him)

76. 1. To fulfill the covenant means to fulfill the covenant that was taken from the People of the Book or from their communities through every prophet regarding having faith in the Prophet ﷺ, and to be pious, meaning to avoid the prohibitions of Allah Almighty and to act upon those matters which the Prophet ﷺ has explained. Such people will certainly not only be safe from the accountability of Allah but will also be beloved to Allah Almighty.
