سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ

Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 175

إِنَّمَا ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿175﴾
It is only Shaitân (Satan) that suggests to you the fear of his Auliyâ’ [supporters and friends (polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Messenger, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)]; so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers.
إِنَّمَا innamā (It is) only
ذَٰلِكُمُ dhālikumu that
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ l-shayṭānu the Shaitaan
يُخَوِّفُ yukhawwifu frightens (you)
أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥ awliyāahu (of) his allies
فَلَا falā So (do) not
تَخَافُوهُمْ takhāfūhum fear them
وَخَافُونِ wakhāfūni but fear Me
إِن in if
كُنتُم kuntum you are
مُّؤْمِنِينَ mu'minīna believers

175. 1. That is, he puts you in this suspicion and delusion that they are very strong and powerful.
175. 2. That is, when he puts you in this delusion, then you should rely only on Me and turn only to Me; I will suffice you and I will be your Helper, as stated in another place (اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهٗ ۭ) 39:36 Is Allah not sufficient for His servant?
